Senate Job Hunt Mega Thread

I’ve heard about several openings there.

This is exactly what i’ve heard. In particular, it sounds like they’re throwing anybody and everybody into litigation roles regardless of your background.

Shot in the dark but does anybody know if there’re high school internships available during the summer? A client of mine has a kid whose a sophomore in high school trying to pad their resume for college apps.

Your client should probably try their luck with the Senate page program if that’s logistically possible for them. Only open to juniors, but they probably have some time to prep/apply going into next year. That’s what I did when I was still in high school.

If that’s not an option, most senators have applications on their webpages. Your client should probably just reach out directly to the office and ask - though helps a lotif they’re a consistent+large donor.

Thanks! Yeah, he’s looking at the page program, but wants to see if he can get his kid in for the summer before the page program to just get a lay of the land / as a hedge if he doesn’t get the page appointment.

is your client republican or democrat?

Republican

DM me.

You might be better off looking for an internship in the House. Lots of members, lower standards. Unless your client is willing to drop lots of :money_bag::money_bag::money_bag: in donor money

Cantwell is a good Senator to work for. Would highly recommend people to go for this if they’re interested.

Anyone know if this New Banking Policy Director! means Rounds is hiring?

Anyone know if there are high school interns for the Senate (not the page program)? I’ve got a coworker (schedule c) looking for good summer internships for his son who is a rising senior.

Britt’s looking for a Banking LA. Caroline just left.
