I meant the Fed, but I guess both would be pretty interesting. Wondering what people at both places are thinkgin

Markets would freak if Powell leaves for any reason. You’re gonna see a lot of small businesses die at that point.

I know some Treasury people. Factions have been pretty split on how to deal with Powell. But DM me if there’s something specific you had in mind.

So Bessent is basically telling Trump he doesn’t want to be under his thumb. Can’t imagine why Trump would go along with that.
