This is only scratching the surface it seems. I’ve heard that a lot of the operational issues they had were due to Faulkender being an awful manager
A friend of mine who got in 3-4 months ago is already looking for a job. They said it was the worst mistake of their career.
That’s what I’m hearing from one of my friends too. It’s wild because my friend used to work on Wall Street and is used to 80+ hour weeks with incredibly abusive people and he’s ready to throw in the towel already.
I guess I shouldn’t find this all that surprising given how some of the people got their jobs there. I know that someone got a job there by leaking information to a reporter about their friend’s past drug use because they knew he was slated to get a role that they wanted.

Heard that another very high ranked senior adviser recently left the treasury. Shocked they have anyone left there to do any work.

He was a generalist I think but economist by training.
