Nah. Leadership at Republican SD/LD meeting this morning told people to not get their hopes up despite some major (federal employee?) union endorsing the CR.
Shutdown Challenges Republicans’ Vow to Never End the Filibuster
It’s wild how many resumes from Congressional staff my firm received during this shutdown. I don’t know how Congress is going to operate if even a quarter of these staff successfully leave.
So anyone flying anytime soon?
My friend at the dept of transportation told me to not get on any flights until this shutdown is over. He said a lot of the air traffic controllers are pulling double duty and things are getting really unsafe out there.
