I’m currently an LC and my boss is asking if I’d be willing to help on the campaign. Wanted to ask if anybody else has done this and if it’s a good idea.
Depends on the role you’re being given on the campaign. But given that you’re currently an LC, it’s probably a very good opportunity to get a step up in responsibility and advance your career.
Would highly recommend it. These campaigns get you a lot of exposure to your boss and significant opportunity to demonstrate your capabilities. It’s what allowed me to make career jumps 3-4 years faster than I would have after I did a good job on the campaign and my chief left for a job elsewhere.
