This is what Dimon gets for criticizing ICE at Davos I guess. You’d think he would’ve learned his lesson after the Feds fined him billions of dollars for criticizing them :man_shrugging:

Yup. Dimon’s comment here was in reference to the federal regulators secretly freezing all of JPM’s growth plans because they didn’t like what he said publicly about them.

Didn’t he also say something once about how China was the most advanced country in the world. And we made him backtrack on that. Or was that someone else?

That doesn’t sound like him. I think he’s more of the opinion that the U.S. was too complacent in letting CHina catch up the way it did, but I don’t think he’s taken the view that they’re more advanced than us.
