It really wouldn’t be hard for a reporter or even a Democrat to attend these meetings. Not that I’m sure it would do them any good anyway
It’s sometimes helpful to get a sense on what we’re voting on, but an email would usually suffice (and be clearer) than going to these meetings.
Seriously? Aren’t the Scott staffers that wrote that not even in the Senate anymore? Is anyone from the Rs actually pushing this or is it all Warren?

Congressional leaders in the House and Senate have come to a final agreement on a bicameral, landmark housing deregulation bill, according to multiple sources familiar with the agreement.
The deal comes after months of legislative tug-of-war over the housing bill.
House Financial Services Committee Chair French Hill (R-Ark.) dropped his opposition to the Senate’s latest bill today after the Senate agreed to sunset a reauthorization of the disaster recovery block grant program after three years. Hill also secured a series of banking deregulations in the latest text.
