Whoa — Schumer just filed an amendment to the NDAA that would force the release of the Epstein files. And he made a procedural maneuver on the floor that will force a Senate vote on the amendment…

This whole shutdown is probably just so the admin doesn’t have to deal with this issue isn’t it?

Shutdown doesn’t actually have much to do with it. House will vote on it after Grijalva is sworn in and that’s gonna compel the admin to release a bunch of documentation.

My guess is the admin is going to redact/stonewall, but I’d hate to be the low level political appointee who is going to need to answer for that when Dems eventually take the House
