MTG is out already and House Republican margin is now down to 2. This includes Thomas Massie which means it’s for any legislative purpose, effectively a margin of 1.
Fingers crossed another one bites the dust so I don’t have to work on Reconciliation 2.0!/s

And there it is - Jim Baird is in the hospital after a car crash. Considering how he’s 80yo, looks like that’s it for Reconciliation 2.0.

Whelp. that’s a wrap for this year I guess.
It looks like there’s a 42% chance that Reconciliation will definitely not happen, though it’s looking pretty bad already.
Does anyone know what LaMalfa died from? Trying to get a sense for the over under on whether this was divine intervention or standard idiotic old people symptoms
Heart attack + Aneurysm. He died during surgery. Not sure if that counts as divine intervention.
Does Thomas Massie know he’s basically the acting Speaker right now? If he decides he doesn’t like the font on the Reconciliation bill, the bill is basically DOA.
