It’s sometimes helpful to get a sense on what we’re voting on, but an email would usually suffice (and be clearer) than going to these meetings. ---

Looks like Chair Hill just wants to be done with it all From Punchbowl News Vault. Congressional leaders in the House and Senate have come to a final agreement on a bicameral, landmark housing deregulation bill, according to multiple sources familiar with the agreement. The deal comes after months of legislative tug-of-war over the housing bill. House Financial Services Committee Chair French Hill (R-Ark.) dropped his opposition to the Senate’s latest bill today after the Senate agreed to sunset a reauthorization of the disaster recovery block grant program after three years. Hill also secured a series of banking deregulations in the latest text. More in PM. ---
