Wonder why he cares so much about a residency requirement given it’d only apply going forward. But by my count, roughly 8/12 would probably fail this test. I don’t think it’s an unfair sentiment. The current status quo would be as if 75% of Senators/House members all moved from New York to another state just to run for Congress. Wouldn’t make for very ‘representative’ governnance. ---

While it’s not exactly the case that they all come from the same state, it does look like they basically all come from the same core group of universities. This probably explains why Dems are all insufferable in the same way. Hopefully Sec.
